Building Trades Leadership Academy

Thursday-Friday, March 26-27, 2020

The UC Berkeley Labor Center two-day Building Trades Leadership Academy will feature presentations, open discussions, and group participatory exercises for building trades organizers and business representatives.

Topics will include:
  • Economic Trends in Construction Trades
  • Threats and Opportunities in Job Growth
  • Labor/Community Coalition Building
  • Communication Skills: Mentoring Leaders/Public Speaking
  • CA. Assembly Bill 2358
  • Leadership Development: Skill Building
