Labor Education
-
Labor Center workshops and leadership development schools build the capacity of unions and community organizations to address a rapidly changing and challenging political and economic environment. We work to develop the skills of emerging leaders, as well as assist some of the most seasoned labor professionals to identify opportunities and craft strategic approaches to overcoming challenge. In order to promote a diverse labor movement, we have designed workshops and leadership schools that specifically address the unique issues facing Black trade unionists, Latino leaders, and union women. We also provide skills training on traditional and social media communications, financial budgeting and management, strategic research and strategic campaign planning.
