About Aida

Aida Farmand is an economic policy researcher with significant experience in labor market research. Her research focuses on bargaining power of workers, the public cost of low wages, and the dynamics of the low-wage labor markets with a particular focus on gender and racial inequities. Previously, she worked as a research associate for the Schwartz Center for Economic Policy Analysis at the New School for Social Research. She has a doctorate in economics from the New School for Social Research.
