Joyce is a second-year Master of Public Policy candidate at the Goldman School of Public Policy. Coming from a background as a low-income, first-generation student, Joyce has experienced firsthand the transformative power of a supportive educational system. Joyce’s research is driven by a commitment to reforming standard educational frameworks to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their traditional academic performance. Through her academic pursuits and community engagement, Joyce is dedicated to making a significant impact in educational policy, advocating for systemic changes that benefit underserved communities.
